"Vienna is simply unimaginable without the famous, globally unique coffee house culture - which has been an intangible UNESCO World Heritage Site since November 2011. In my previous book "I love Vienna - Die 111 Lieblingsplätze der Stars" I asked prominent personalities to tell me their individual oases of well-being and favorite places in the federal capital, I would like to pay tribute to Vienna's coffee houses in this sequel and create a monument to them, Andrea Buday and yours truly asked 66 celebrities from a wide variety of genres to take us to their favorite café and tell us about their coffee house habits - peppered with personal anecdotes and memories - and of course whether they like melange, singles or espresso macchiato," says Clemens Trischler, who is bringing his fourth book onto the market with this work.

"When I came to Vienna four decades ago to study, my first trip took me to Café Hawelka. There, among all the many people, Josefine Hawelka was busy buzzing around, looking for a seat or greeting people. That I was sitting on a chair in front of Perhaps Peter Ustinov, Helmut Qualtinger, Hans Moser or Oskar Werner had once sat down for me. It was love at first sight - and this love now encompasses me. Almost all Viennese coffee houses are islands of bliss," says Andrea Buday.

In "Wiener Melange - Stars & ihre Lieblingscafés. Eine Hommage", published by echomedia buchverlag, the focus is on the legendary Viennese coffee house culture with its over 2,200 member companies. 66 prominent personalities from a wide variety of genres - portrayed by top photographer Monika Fellner - present their favorite cafés and coffee house habits and reveal one or two personal anecdotes about them. The spectrum ranges from traditional, famous coffee houses to hip and modern cafés, each with a QR code indicating the location of the business.
